Optional Side Pools: 100% return. All side pools are payable at the registration on Saturday. Those, who have entered side pools for an event, they don't eventually play will get a refund.

Main Event Format
MASTERS:
Riviera Cup- Saturday: 5 rounds of 9-point Swiss.
3 losses → Move to the Torquay Cup eliminations, starting the next day.
4 wins → Advance to the Riviera Cup eliminations.
3 wins after 5 rounds → Enter a 1-point knockout to decide the final spots in a 16-player elimination bracket.
INTERMEDIATES:
Paignton Cup- Saturday: 5 rounds of 7-point Swiss.
3 losses → Move to the Brixham Cup eliminations, starting the next day.
3 wins → Advance to the Paignton Cup eliminations.
Sunday:
Players progress to different elimination brackets based on their results.
Masters: Players eliminated from the Riviera Cup on Saturday and in the second elimination round on Sunday will still have a place in the Torquay Cup and/or Livermead Cup.
Intermediates: Players eliminated from the Paignton Cup on Saturday and in the second elimination round on Sunday will still have a place in the Brixham Cup and/or Rew Cup.
Everyone: Players unlucky enough to lose their matches in the 1st or 2nd round of the Livermead Cup and Rew Cup can enter the Super Last Chance.

Rules and Guidelines
The tournament will be run in accordance with the latest version of
UKBGF Rules (2.1)
.
For general expected behavior and conduct, the
UKBGF Code of Conduct
applies. Please ensure you are familiar with both documents.
Clocks are mandatory for all events, with time settings as follows:
Standard Events: 2 minutes per point, 12 seconds delay per move.
Consultation Doubles: 3 minutes per point, 15 seconds delay per move.
Speedgammon: 24 seconds per point, 10 seconds delay per move.
Switchgammon: 2.5 minutes per point, 12 seconds delay per move.
DMP and Tapa: Clocks are optional.
If you are going to be away from the playing room for more than 5 minutes, you must let the tournament staff know. If a player is not present and has not started the match 5 minutes after the starting time or after the end of the permitted break, one penalty point may be awarded. Subsequently a further penalty point may be awarded for each subsequent 5 minute delay. When a player has been awarded penalty points corresponding to more than half of the length of the match, such player shall be deemed to have won the match.
The Legal Moves Policy will apply: any illegal move must be corrected if noticed before the opponent's roll.
Dice on Checker: This is considered a legal roll.
If there is disagreement with a TD's decision, players can appeal to a Rules Committee. 2025 Committee members: Jon Barnes, Martin Barkwill, Richard Carter and Kevin Jones.
All games will be UKBGF-rated, except for non-standard formats and games.
